After years of struggling with his identity as a male, Benjamin became involved in the homosexual lifestyle during high school.  His involvement in this lifestyle also led him to begin to drink heavily and experiment with drugs.  As his life began to spiral out of control - his mother was forced to love him through his dark season while being a consistent intercessor, standing in the gap for her son.  Ben's lifestyle eventually led him down the path of becoming a female impersonator and he began to dress as a woman full time.

With the love and support of his mother, Ben was finally able to break free from the homosexual lifestyle.  He and his mother are now Co-Directors of By Grace Ministries, where they are helping others walk in freedom from sexual sin.  Benjamin is also a newly published author of the book "Out of the Closet, Into Freedom" - where he shares his testimony and offers resources for others.
